The Poet is the fifth novel by award-winning American author Michael Connelly. The paper feels cheaper (be careful or you'll tear edges), the font is smaller and slightly furred (readable but hard on the eyes and ironically, the teaser in the back has the fit the same size as previous books and not furry. Please try again. You might end up sucking down a bullet. This book is an excellent story with an excellent twist.

Don’t read one before the other. Connelly takes a break from his Harry Bosch police novels (The Last Coyote, p. 328, etc.) This is the paperback edition and the font is small and the pages a blue-grey colour which might make it difficult to read for those with sight issues.

Wexler’s is Wex, Sean’s, Mac. Not that anything important had happened.

A voice slowly cured over the years by cigarette smoke and whiskey. Some hit it early.

Writers can produce a great read, several great reads, several series about different main characters but rarely do writers manage as many great reads as Mr Connelly. Not a thriller not tense just nasty as are most crime novels these days. No Kindle device required. I know one down in Colorado Springs named Scoto whom most other cops call Scroto.
