But the author’s writing style, use of key terms, and plenty of “desert island” examples helps get through what can become a very complicated topic (the main reason I was drawn to the book).

Kishtainy has written a book that should hold the interest of his audience and leave them the better for having read it.

Everyday I couldn't help but picked it up first thing in the morning.
You'll learn a lot — I did.
This engaging book introduces the great thinkers in Western philosophy and explores their most compelling ideas about the world and how best to live in it.
Much more than a simple Smith-Ricardo-Mill-Keynes-Friedman explanation, the author instead covers a wide range of unique economists, philosophers, psychologists, industrialists, and entrepreneurs who have influenced current thought on the ways people interact within markets. He points to the concept of, and rationalization for, economic scarcity in the Bible; but he ignores incongruent biblical texts about abundance — such as manna in the wilderness or Jesus’s feeding miracles. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness. As a non-economics major, I find majority of the topics are interesting and want to explore them more in the future. You don't want to miss this!

Most of all, I’m interested in the stories we tell ourselves about our economic world, and why they matter. Steven Novella, Apparently completely impartial with others' hobby horses described but none ridden by the author. Well, as I've understood, this is a good book for economy begginers, but what if I have already studied capitalism & neo-liberalism, marxism and sovietic communism in school?
But saying that, he is not perfect and definitely fails to meet the goal of being perfectly impartial.
