I believe that because they only see people as shadows and when a passer by talks they think its the shadow so its like they are judging who that person is. People today are able to live their lives how they want to live them to the most part. A further criticism would be that Plato’s understanding of knowledge has no practical relevance, as it gives no indication or guide as to how to achieve the higher levels of intellect or, more importantly, how to apply his theory to the moral field of making everyday decisions. We will see the truth and understand that all we’ve been told or taught have been nothing but lies. Now the government can butt into our phone conversations and texts. The companies use celebrities, false advertising, glittering generalities, and many other techniques to brainwash people into buying these products.
