We have four centres you can use for recycling household waste. They are free to use. Please use Keynsham recycling centre or book an appointment at Midsomer Norton. Additional household waste can also be taken.
Recycling centres are open seven days a week. Last admission is 15 minutes before closing time.
Vans and light goods vehicles are allowed to bring domestic waste, but must book before visiting a recycling centre. Please visit our main recycling centre page for more information about vans, trailers and permits. There is no charge for disposing of waste at these centres.

We cannot take any tins that still have liquid emulsion paint in them (add sawdust, sand or soil to the container, or buy a paint hardener and leave the lid off until the paint becomes solid and dry).
Should you require help with a bulky item, we suggest that you bring a passenger.
There may be some queues and delays, so please co-operate with any traffic arrangements in place and the instructions from staff to allow vehicles to enter and exit our sites safely. We have reopened our re-use containers, but we are only able to accept a limited number of items including furniture and bicycles. Residents in the east of district may find it easier to travel to the Bolsover Household Waste Recycling Centre and residents in the very south of the District may find it easier to travel to the Loscoe Household Waste Recycling Centre.
